In 2015, the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre underwent a significant modernisation to enhance its facilities. Partnering with SPS Technology, the Innovate Stadia team contributed to the redevelopment of two key courts: Court 17 and Grandstand Stadium.

  • Court 17 features bleacher-style seating for 2,200 of its 2,500 seats using SPS tiered decking, designed to maximise the fan experience.
  • The Grandstand Stadium is the third-largest court at the National Tennis Centre, rebuilt in 2015 and is also the world’s first LEED-certified tennis stadium.
  • The modernisation included better amenities and reconfiguration to support increased spectator numbers and a range of diverse events.
