San Jose State University’s Aquatic Centre features SPS Technology’s decking system for its outdoor swimming seating.

  • The SPS Stadia + Arenas decking system was selected for the open-lap pool’s outdoor seating area, prioritising safety with pre-applied wearing surfaces and nosings.
  • A total of 89 m² (961 ft²) of SPS decking was installed with an upgraded epoxy mid-coat to withstand the corrosive, chlorine-rich environment.
  • The 40,000 ft² outdoor aquatics deck supports two 50m pools – one for recreation and another for full competition – with SPS outdoor spectator seating adjacent to the competition pool.
