Tech CU Indoor Arena San Jose Barracudas

In 2022, Tech CU Arena was completed as part of a significant expansion of the Solar4America Ice complex, thus making it the largest ice facility under one roof west of the Mississippi! SPS Technology’s Stadia + Arenas System played a key role in this development.

  • The 200,000 ft² expansion increased the number of ice sheets from four to six, with the SPS system installed in the new 4,200-seat indoor arena for Rink 6.
  • SPS was used for the stands, vomitory walls, aisle steps and stairs.
  • Most of the installation was completed in about one week.
