Using the innovative structural composite from SPS Technology, the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku, Azerbaijan, was designed to be as flexible as possible with an expanded indoor arena space accommodating 5000-8000 spectators.

  • 3,319 m² of SPS stadia decking was installed in the new gymnastics arena to accommodate varying levels of spectators depending on the event.
  • The new area complex also houses an additional 2,500m training hall, a medical centre, canteens, offices and 16,000m² of landscaped gardens.
